Initial Evaluation 

Each person’s treatment plan is unique and individualized. We start with a 90 minute diagnostic evaluation and your personalized supplement and medication plan is initiated. 

Testing 

Bloodwork follows as part of the evaluation, typically via LabCorp or Quest.  

Hormones are central to our mental health, to sleep, and to stress management.  An in-depth hormone assessment is available if needed.

Genetic testing can be done to narrow down medication options and personalizes dosing. This test offers information that may help with medication selection as well as identifying useful supplements based on your unique brain and liver physiology. Optional

Metabolic testing looks at gut health, nutrient status, and detox pathways. Optional

These tests help us identify the root causes of your symptoms and guide our treatment plan together.

Your Personalized Treatment Plan 

Your treatment plan may include pharmacological medication and supplements along with lifestyle and nutritional components. 

Supplements are of two types. One type will significantly address and treat our individual nutritional deficiencies or in certain cases, excesses. These are the foundational supplements such as vitamin D. 

The other types of supplements are more for treatment of mental health symptoms, ie depression, anxiety, insomnia, and PMS. These might include herbs, vitamins, or minerals.

Sometimes there is overlap between these two groups. 

Psychiatric Medication

Psychiatric medication can be provided alongside nutraceuticals and other modalities for your long term health and well-being.

De-prescribing is available. If you have been on psychiatric medicine for a long time and are interested in assistance in tapering your medicine, we will build that into your treatment plan.
